Tony Eugene Elrod Sr.'s Obituary
LAKELAND - Tony Eugene Elrod Sr. age 62 The owner of Tony Elrod's Auto Repair for 17 years. Born and raised in Lakeland, FL. He began his family in 1975 when he married his soul mate and they had two children, a son and four years later, a daughter. His children married and he gained another son and daughter as well as four beautiful granddaughters. He was a hardworking, selfless, loving, caring. and family-oriented man who loved to hunt and fish. He spent a lot of time in the outdoors as well as with the family. He left us after a long and hard 11-year battle with cancer on 11/21/15. We will forever love and miss our Big-Daddy.
Preceded in death by his father Harold E, Elrod. Survived by his mother Betty White Elrod; wife Judy E. Elrod; son Tony E. Elrod Jr. (Amber); daughter Alisha Rupp (Alvin); all of Lakeland, FL three brothers Jeff Elrod (Betty) of Ashville, NC; Michael Elrod of Lakeland, FL; Bobby Huddleston (Penny) of Hamburg, NY; four granddaughters, Morgan and Alleson Rupp, Paisley and Kalia Elrod all of Lakeland, FL
Visitation Monday 11/23/15, 4-6:00 pm at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home Serenity Gardens
3350 Mall Hill Drive Lakeland, FL 33810. Funeral service Tuesday 11/24/15, 2:30pm at the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow at Socrum Cemetery in Lakeland
