Tara Lyn Harris' Obituary
Tara Lyn Harris, 51, of Mulberry, Florida, was welcomed home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 11, 2022 while surrounded by her loving family.
Tara was born July 17, 1970 to Bradford and Marla (Lane) Gronquist. She was preceded in death by both parents. She is survived by her husband, Eric Harris, of the home, her son Christian (Karissa) Harris, her daughter Sydney (Dustin) Satterlee, as well as her grandchildren, Camden and Emersyn Harris. She is also survived by her sister, Le (David) Bowen, and brother Brian (Lucero) Gronquist, in addition to her stepfather Philip Tipton, chosen family member Nancy Hartman, and life-long best friend Shannon Chastain.
She also leaves behind many beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.
For those who knew Tara, they knew that she poured fully into her family, friends, and most especially her grand babies, and also that she held tightly to her faith in Jesus Christ. She also taught all who knew her how to live and to love mightily.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 4450 Harden Blvd., Lakeland, Florida on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. EST.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be considered to either Lobo Ranch in Lakeland, FL, an organization that specializes in providing foster care services for children, or Bonnet Springs Park, Lakeland, FL, a beautiful and tranquil space for local residents. Both organizations were very important to Tara.
