Russell Alan Futch's Obituary
Russell Alan Futch, age 52, passed from this life on 11/26/2020. He is survived by his daughter Evangeline Porter (Jerry), parents Art and Judy Futch, and sister Eileen Carroll (Don).
Russell was a graduate of Lake Gibson High School and Polk Community College. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of Desert Storm. Following his military service, he worked for Publix for approximately 35 years in a variety of roles, the latest being in Support Services.
He was very patriotic and took pride in serving his country and being part of the "military family". He also served as a member of the Honor Guard for the AMVET Post in Lakeland.
Visitation with Family will be held at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home Southside on Tuesday, December 1, from 6-8 P.M. Funeral Services will be held at Parkview Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 2, at 10 A.M.
Russell will be laid to rest in Bushnell, FL, at the Florida National Cemetery, in a private ceremony.
