I am Louise’s daughter, Linda. Darlene and my mom worked together at Watson Clinic for many years. When Darlene’s mother passed she adopted my mom as a “second mother.” I always joked that Darlene was the “good” daughter. My mother loved her so much and they
were always sharing recipes. Darlene loved her boys, all the grandsons, nieces, and nephews. She was a precious woman and will be greatly missed.

Darlene , it is with a heavy heart that I write this....you were more than an employee, you became a lifelong friend. We may not have visited every day, but, we knew we were just a phone call away. I will always remember our trip to Universal with Tammie Seymour and Darlene Christy, we had such fun. I'm so sorry you're gone, but, God needed an angel, so he called you home and he now has the best angel of all. Love you girl, may you find peace and we'll see you on the other side.

I know you wouldn’t like it, but I feel such an emptiness. I miss you so much already. I’ve picked up the phone to call you and realized I can’t call you in heaven. You are the most wonderful soul, caring, kind, sympathetic, and you love so fiercely. Not only did you have your own family you were a big part of my family and I thank you for that. Rest in peace, my dear, sweet friend until I see you again.
