Luie Baez's Obituary
Luie Baez, 60, passed away in Lakeland on Monday, July 31, 2023.
Born to parents Pedro and Esperanza Baez in Newark, New Jersey on March 22, 1963, Luie was a loving father to his 5 children, and loved all things baseball. Go Mets!
Luie is preceded in death by his parents and brother Hector Baez.
He is survived by sons Charlie Baez and Joevanni Baez; daughters Kathy Rivera, Kayla Baez, and Raquel Baez; brothers Orlando Baez, Ralph Baez, Rick Baez, Spook Baez and George Baez; sister Soqui Baez; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 10-11:00 AM, followed by funeral service at 11:00 AM, at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel. Following services, Luie will be laid to rest at Serenity Gardens.
