As Landon’s grandparents you are our heart, We loved you the first time we held you at birth. We loved a little blond headed boy who was always curious about everything. One time when you were ten, we took you fishing at okeechobee where we stayed at a hotel with a swimming pool & McDonalds across the street; in grandpa’s boat we caught fish everyday for 3 days. You told us one day, “grandpa it doesn’t get any better than this.” We were proud of your wrestling skills in high school, your ability to sing and your graduation. We were so proud to have a grandson in the United States Navy. Remember seeing you in your white uniform, standing at attention as the ship came into harbor in Jacksonville. We loved writing you letters & hearing from you while you were out to sea. We always looked forward to the times you were at home on leave. I always tried to cook you collard greens when you were home because I knew you loved them. The darkness & pain are gone now & you are at peace in the arms of Jesus. We will see you again one day & be together for eternity. You are Navy strong. With all our love. Grandpa & Grandma.
