Joe was my best friend! I knew him for 50+ years, and Ava for 47 years. We were at DLIWCB together learning Korean, then we served at Kang Hwa Do together in the ASA. After we got out of the service he moved down to Texas, and I got to meet Ava. Our friendship persevered even though we moved away from each other, we still stayed connected. He was a true friend in every sense of the word, always there to bounce ideas off of. He could be a bit gruff at times, but you always knew there was a Teddy Bear buried inside of him. He loved his family and God, and he would give you the shirt off of his back if he knew you needed it! Rest in peace Joe, you will be missed, a lot! TERRY "The Gangpae" FRANK
I am offering my condolences to the family a friends of Joe. I have admired and been freind with him many years. Joe was opinionated and loved despite that he was a devoted family man. He fought hard for all veterans, Joe we miss you! You are now in the army of the lord.
Worked with Joe for many years when he was a Veterans Service Representative for the State of Florida. Always admired the dedication he showed for the work and the respect and care which he provided to veterans. Offering my condolences and wishing the family well.
