I moved down to St. Pete in 1998 and went to work for Duron Paint. That’s where I first met the Seay family. Trish was a store manager and Ron was an outside sales rep. Since I relocated by myself I didn’t have any family or friends in Florida, and that’s when this remarkable family took me in.
I knew Ron as “Captain Ron”. The Captain always made me feel like I had a family in FL! He was a GREAT friend and mentor. He had a special quality of kindness and compassion. I always admired he and Pat for relocating to FL to make sure their youngest daughter was okay when she decided to move south and manage a paint store. He was a guardian angel.
Captian, you earned your wings and I hope your flying high in the sky. Thank you for SO many memorable moments! We had some great times and I appreciate every second I got to spend with you. I love ya Capt, rest easy big fella, I love you and will never forget you!!
We met Tricia and Keith at First United Methodist Church first. From the moment I saw them, I felt somehow connected.This is how we met Ron and Pat, and again there was a comfortable friendship. We would see Ron and Pat com into Church with Bob. Wonderful , how everyone would love to see them come in.
We have shard Phoenix dinners ,at Church and we always respected Ron's quiet demeanor, with his special smile when his Granddaughters would arrive.
We didn't know Ron very well, but we saw the special man he was. He loved his wife Pat, and his Family. Oh you could see his face light up.
Ron, your journey was long and difficult,but you fought the good fight! Now you rest in God's loving Peace,and we will meet again. Peace to your family, whose hearts are broken,with your passing. We will miss you Ron, rest in God's Grace. Walter, Charlene Collins and family
I'll always remember Ron for his kind gentleness, and good business sense... But mostly for his keen sense of humor! You had to listen closely sometimes, because if you didn't, you'd miss his straight-faced joking. In a way, I'm glad he was not available for visitors the day I was there. I want to remember him as the quick witted gentleman we all had the pleasure of knowing.
