One of my fondest memories of Uncle James was many years ago. I was maybe 12 years old. He was working for Pantry Pride. I was spending the summer with my grandparents and he asked if I wanted to go to work with him. When it came time for lunch, he told me that I could pick out anything in the store to eat. Well, I chose Philly cream cheese. I went and picked up the store brand. When I brought it to him, he said "oh no, we eat only the best". He proceeded to the isle with the cream cheese. He picked up the real Philly brand. I have never forgotten that day. He was my favorite Uncle. I will always love you Uncle James.

James is my 2nd cousin, the first cousin of my father. They were always very close and were "there" for each other during the ups and downs of their lives. I always thought James was very handsome and he was one of my favorite cousins. He is one of the finest people I have ever known. Losing him has taken a chunk from my heart. I know he and my dad, Bob Sheppard, are telling each other groaner jokes to all the other folks in heaven. R.I.P. dear sweet James.

My heart is with all of his family. He was a great man who brought sunshine and smiles everywhere he went. Our office has not only lost an amazing patient buy also a part of our family. We looked forward to hearing him talk of his grandkids every week. He is deeply missed
