Well I don’t know where to start! I have so many memories of Brenda it is hard to think of which one to share. She definitely taught me of what a family should be and how to always have a good heart and open my door to everyone. This is what Brenda has done for me. Becoming part of her girls was a blessing to me. Even as I married my best friend she was like my other mother and Joe the other dad was there stressing with the rest of them making sure everything was ok. I hope that I will be at least half the woman you were. This is not goodbye but until we meet again. You will be missed. Love always, Tabitha

Mom, You were definitely one of the strongest women I have ever known. You loved every stray friend your girls brought home and never judged us for a minute. You will totally be missed. I am so glad I got to see you at Britt's wedding and that you got to meet my girls. I am a better person for knowing you and being an adopted part of the family. Brenda Newkirk was a very special and caring soul always making you feel welcome.I remember when I was pregnant with my first child I was a teen Brenda and her husband were always inviting me to dinner ,making sure I was eating good.Brendas love for her family showed always.I know growing up a lot of us girls always thought of Brenda as a second mom,I know I did.I remember even on her days of not feeling well she still would smile.She was a great person and will be missed dearly

I was privileged to meet Brenda and quickly grew to love her like a sister. She opened her home to me, a stranger, and made me feel right at home. She is one of the most loving and sweetest of ladies I have ever met. She gave me many hugs... REAL hugs! You could see her love of family and friends shining in her eyes. She will be sorely missed by many who love her. Heaven gained one very special angel when she went to join them.

Mom you were our family's rock and are already dearly missed. Even though it hurts so much I know you are my angel looking down on me and no longer in pain. I am just glad I got to spend what time I did with you and tell you how much I love you. I know you were worried about everyone else and how all this would affected them but you don't have to worry.
