Blake L. Winslow's Obituary
Blake L. Winslow, 91, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, February 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on August 9, 1934, in Lithia, Florida, Blake was the son of Grace (Durden) and Blake Winslow. A lifelong Floridian, he built a life defined by faith, hard work, music, and devotion to family.
Blake was a faithful member of Christina Park Baptist Church. Throughout his life, he joyfully led music services in churches, sharing his love for worship and inspiring many through song. His strong faith was the foundation of his life and a guiding example to those around him.
He proudly served four years in the National Guard Reserve. Blake dedicated more than 30 years to the phosphate industry, earning the respect of colleagues through his leadership and work ethic. After retiring, he spent several years consulting before accepting a position as Operations Manager for K-Technologies, Inc., where he worked until retiring again at the age of 88.
Outside of his career, Blake found great joy in fishing and golfing, hobbies that allowed him to spend treasured time with family and friends.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Betty Winslow; his daughters, Sheryl Pace, Karen Lovering, Kristina Leamon, Donna Jackson, and Shannon Wilson; and his sons, Douglas Wilson and Howie Wilson. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 1:30 PM at Oak Hill Burial Park.
Blake will be remembered for his steadfast faith, servant’s heart, love of music, and unwavering dedication to his family.
