Alida Jean Cooper's Obituary
Alida Cooper was born on February 18th, 1957 in Warren, MI to her parents Madeline and Alden Clark. She was the 4th child of 6. Alida lived most of her life in SE Michigan and then moved to Florida in 2007 with her husband Ian and children.
Alida had her formal education in the Center Line public school district and graduated in June 1975. She then began working at a machine shop cutting tools with diamonds, with her passion being in artristy and painting. Alida then met Ian in 1977 and married him on October 16, 1982. They had children, Nicole on October 12th, 1985 and Jesse on March 9th, 1987. Alida stayed home to raise her children during their young years. After they both got older, Alida really started to work on her passion in painting. She started her own faux finish and mural business in which she painted many home's walls with beautiful murals for walls, hallways and foyers. Also artisful hand painted tiles and porcelain pieces. While still taking the time to create breath-taking canvas paintings. In the last years of her working life, Alida also worked in helping people find the perfect pair of eyeglasses. Her eye for beauty really helped many people feel good about not only being able to see but also looking great.
Alida took her last breath on Monday, January 8th, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Alden Clark, mother, Madeline Clark and sisters, Theresa Louwers and Cindy Dault.
Alida leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Ian Cooper of FL; her daughter, Nicole Cooper of FL; her son, Jesse Cooper of FL; her brother, Glenn Clark and family of MI, her brother, Scott Clark and family of MI; and her brother, Mark Clark and family of MI.
