Missing you Xaves! I think about you often.
As the days march forward to June and graduations, I realized that the one year anniversary of Xavier's death will soon be here. I am Connor Van Gessel's mother, Arline. I met Xavier numerous times while visiting my son, Connor, down at Stanford. They were good friends and lived in the same dorm the last two years at Stanford. We were also in Sarasota for spring break last year. Connor enjoyed meeting Xavier's family and seeing where Xavier grew up while visiting Sarasota and spending time with his dear friend, Xavier that week they were on break from college. I don't know if Xavier's family will even see this posting since it is almost a year after Xavier's death, but if you do, please know that I thought your son was a wonderful young man. He was a true friend to my son and touched his life and by extension touched mine. I think of him often. I hope he has found peace. He is very much missed by his friend, my son, Connor and by myself as well.
I am so sorry for your loss. Xavier was loved by everyone he met and he will live on in their hearts. I pray for your comfort and strength. He will be missed by many and we are thankful to have had him in our lives. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
With heartfelt condolences,
Gail, Kinsey & Garret Moore
So sorry to hear about your family's loss. Please accept my deepest condolences as you mourn Xavier. He's a great kid and will be sorely missed. Steve Ogline
Dear Levya Family Members,
I remember the first day that Xavier's sister brought him to visit All Saints Academy on Carl Floyd Road in Winter Haven when Xavier was in Grade 3. Xavier had that winning smile that was his trademark and the most generous spirit. I can see his beautiful third grade round face in my mind's eye as I write. He won the hearts of all and he was one of the most dedicated students ever. Xavier knew how to set goals and achieve them and he knew how to make others smile. He was so proud of his admission to Stanford and from the reports from the West Coast in these days it is clear that his friends and colleagues loved him just as much as those of us at All Saints Academy did. Xavier's family, I know that you have been devoted to him and I pray for peace and healing for each of you. Xavier was a faithful son, brother and friend. Xavier's memory will live at All Saints Academy and we will place a memorial for Xavier in the Circle of Friends at the bell tower. We were blessed to know Xavier and it is an honor to celebrate his life. God's peace to you all. The thoughts and prayers of many are with you in these days.
With deep and sincere sympathy,
Carolyn Baldwin
