Wilmer Louis Goss' Obituary
Wilmer Louis Goss, age 96, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on January 8, 2020, in Mt Clemens, Michigan. He was born on September 1, 1923 to Louis and Mary Goss. He is the beloved husband to the late Betty Goss. He is the loving father of Gordon (Velinda) Goss and Gregory Goss. Wilmer is the cherished grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He is the dear brother of Dan Goss, Cloyce (Bonnie) Goss, Mary Katherine (Ted) West, Betty Moore, Judy (Joe) Lampkin, Dorothy Campbell, Emma Burbank, Hithie Yager, the late Joseph (Madeline) Goss, and the late Gerald (Jean) Goss. Wilmer will be missed by many family and friends. Wilmer worked for Uni Royal Tire Company where he retired after 43 years.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 10-11 am at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland. Funeral services will follow at 11 am at the funeral chapel. Interment with Military Honors will be at 2 pm on Thursday at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
