Wilma Jean Haney's Obituary
Wilma JEAN Jones Haney entered into the Glory of the Lord February 7, 2020, and we rejoice with her.
Jean was born 12-4-1931 to Ezra Pruitt Jones and Eunice Rogers Jones in Haskell, Texas. Both parents predeceased her.
At age 16 she married the love of her life, Sam Haney. And they were happily married until his death in 1990. They owned and operated Sam's Stop and Shop in Lamesa, Texas for 29 years.

After Sam's death, she became secretary at Northridge and served under her beloved pastors: Paul Baskin, Billy Everett, Al Martin, and Jerry Don Cheshire, each of whom were special and unique blessings to Jean and her family.
In 2011 she moved to Florida to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Sandi & Larry Unkart. She found a new church home, Shepherd's Community Church, which she loved and they loved her.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Sandi Haney Unkart and her family: Tiffany and Chris Perdicaris, Austin and Ashley of Lakeland, FL; her stepdaughter Patty George and husband Ronnie of Muskogee, OK and their family: Kyle and Mary Ann George and their family: Michael and Brandon of Texas; Kelly and Greg Burns of Ohio and their family: Taylor and Jordan Adams and Madison Burns; Josh And Kandace George and their family: Cayden and Logan. She is also survived by a precious sister, Dolly Reinhardt of O'Donnell, Texas, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

May I live the rest of my life in such a way that people say the same about me as they've said to me about my mother: "She was such a lively person, so loving and kind - such a testimony to her Faith."
