Willie J. Harris Sr.'s Obituary
LAKELAND - Willie J. Harris Sr., age 74, born January 18, 1940, in Jasper, AL, passed away on September 10, 2014, due to heart failure.
Willie was a loving man who was in turn loved by all who knew him. He also loved animals and enjoyed spending time with his family. Willie's belief was that there is too much sadness in the world and he considered it his job to make people laugh, smile and feel good.
Willie was preceded in death by his brother, Rayburn Drewery. He is survived by his dear wife, Elva; his sons, Willie J. Harris, Jr. (Darlene) and Ronald Harris (Danette); his daughter, Sharon Jordan (Sam); his sister, Clara Drewery, as well as 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the SPCA in Willie's honor.
