WILLIAM 'BILL' MITCHELL LINTS, JR., 81
LAKELAND - William 'Bill' Lints, Jr., 81, passed away on May 1, 2015. Bill was born in Chester, PA, and moved to Lakeland in 1955 after serving in the USMC during the Korean War. He was a beloved and respected teacher in the Polk County Schools. Bill also worked for the Fish and Game Commission as well as for the Lakeland Auto Auction in their security division.
This loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather is survived by Beatrice, his wife of over 56 years. He is also survived by his sons, William III (Ceritta) and James (Magally); daughters, Mary Corley (John) and Janet McNeil, as well as 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family requests that donations be made to Good Shepherd Hospice in Bill's name
