William David Call's Obituary
W. David Call, 76, a resident of Lakeland, Florida, passed away January 2, 2016, at his home with family by his side. He was born in Cortland, NY spent early years in Elmira, NY later moved to Liverpool, NY then retired to Lakeland, Florida.
David was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a long time SU fan, golfer and bowler. David was a Lifetime member of the Liverpool Elks #2348 and a 50 year member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Elmira, NY.
David graduated from Notre Dame High School Elmira, NY. He retired from Syracuse Heat Treating in 2004.
David was predeceased by his parents Henry and Lillian Call; brother Arthur (Butch) Call and daughter Deborah Call Doolittle.
David is survived by his wife of 54 years Jeannine Cady Call; son Gregg (Louise) Call of N. Syracuse; daughter Melissa (Jeff) Charles of Liverpool, NY; son in law Michael Doolittle of Brewerton, NY; two brothers James (Shirley) Call of Gillette, PA; Joe (Patty) Call of Elmira, NY; four sisters Barb (Tad) Day of Redlands, CA; Theresa Drake of Horseheads, NY; Ann Call of Elmira, NY; Mary Jo (Chris) Perkins of Elmira, NY; sister in law Joyce Call of Johnson City, NY; eight grandchildren; Joe Albino Call, Matthew Call, Meaghan Call, D.J. Charles, Taylor Charles, Madison Charles; Kelsey Doolittle, Katie Doolittle; great grandson Aveon Williams; his grand dog Molly; several nieces and nephews
A memorial service will be held in the summer in Liverpool, NY
