What an unbelievable loss at such a young age. I have known Whitney most of his life and his dad has been my best friend for over 30 years. He was best man at my wedding and a true friend for most of my life. Whitney and my daughter Michelle were born the same day in the same hospital. It is terrible to think that you might have to bury your son but I hope we remember Whitney for the time we had with him and believe there is a greater plan that God has for us all.
Whitney always thought of me as his Uncle and I feel his loss as if it were one of my own. He will always remain in my families hearts and thoughts. God bless him and keep him close until we see him again.

The news of Whitney's passing came as a complete shock to me.
I have known Whitney his entire live. I first met his dad, Phillip, when he was sixteen. Phillip was my Best man at my wedding. It is a tragedy when someone loses a child.
My heartfelt sympathies go out to Phillip and Karen, Whitney's family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring you some comfort. Knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
