LAKELAND - Wesley Lance Cubbedge, 33, of Lakeland, passed away June 26, 2014 due to injuries sustained in an auto accident. Lance was born in Baton Rouge, LA, and moved to Lakeland in 1999 after living in St. Croix for 11 years. He worked as a sales manager for Brock Services in Orlando, for 14 years, formerly known as Atlantic Scaffolding. He enjoyed his pastime being with family, fishing, golfing, fast cars, and being an amateur "DJ". Lance is survived by his wife of 13 years Tasha, his sons Dillan and Landon; his parents Wesley and Sheila Cubbedge; maternal grandmother Marie Singleton, paternal grandmother Carol Sutton, his brothers Richard (Leeayn) and Brandon (Courtney); Tasha's father Bill Coe (Barbara); Tasha's mother Jackie Lawson and stepdad Ed; Tasha's adopted father Bob Simonds; and Tasha's maternal grandparents Sandy and Chuck Rockafellow.
Friends are invited to the visitation being held at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Dr., on Tuesday, July 1 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm.
