Wayne F. Estey's Obituary
Wayne Francis Estey, 71 passed away on December 25, 2019 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
Born in Manchester, NH March 1, 1948. He was a Vietnam Veteran proudly servicing his country
for 20 years in the US Air Force. Then spent 15 years with the NJ Department of Corrections.
Following his retirement he relocated to Florida settling in Lakeland for the past 13 years.
He was an avid golfer and a member of the VFW Post 8002 and the Amvets Post 32.
Wayne is survived by his wife Beverly, brothers, Ronald and Elliott "Peachy" Estey.
A son, Wayne F. Estey, Jr. and daughter, Karen "KL" Grala and her husband Jim.
6 stepchildren including Tammy and Vicky who took special care of him.
7 grandchildren, Samantha, Alex, Jessica, Jarrett, Adam, Irene and Daniel and several
step grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
4 great-grandchildren and many adoring nieces and nephews, including Randi.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, January 2, 2020 6-8pm at Gentry-Morrison
Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens, 3350 Mall Hill Drive Lakeland, FL.
Interment with military honors will be conducted at Florida National Cemetery
Friday, January 3, 2020, 11am, 6502 S.W. 102nd Avenue Bushnell, FL
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to the VFW Post 8002 or
Vitas Health Care.
