Warren H. Groth Sr.'s Obituary
Warren H. Groth Sr. passed away October 21, 2022 at the age of 77 after bravely battling health issues.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Groth, his children Warren Groth Jr., Scott Groth, and Tracey (Groth) Barber. He is also survived by his sister Abigail Blanchard, 5 grandchildren, and many other friends and family members.
Warren was born in Foxboro, MA in 1945 and graduated from King Philip High School in Wrentham. After high school, he joined the U.S. Coast Guard and served in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1971. He spent the majority of his career as a truck driver for Garelick Farms in Franklin, MA, where he and Linda raised their children before moving to Uxbridge, MA, and then finally to Lakeland, FL in 2005.
Warren was known for his “good deed for the day” and always wanted to make others smile. His kind personality and friendly demeanor made him easy to be around, and someone to turn to when you needed someone to lend an ear. He enjoyed camping, canoeing, boating, and spending time with family and friends. Warren will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
