Wanda Joyce Wilhoite Johnson's Obituary
Wanda Joyce Wilhoite Johnson, 90, passed away in Lakeland on Sunday, December 18, 2022.
Originally from Georgetown, Kentucky, Wanda was born on October 6, 1932, to Clyde O. and Syble (Burford) Wilhoite.
She was retired from Civil Service for the U.S government and was very active with several VFW posts and held multiple positions with the Ladies Auxiliary.
Wanda is survived by her stepdaughter, Joni Lewis (Robert); grandchildren Megan (Danny) Tinkham, Holly Lewis, and Logan Lewis; great-grandchildren Lucy Morrison and Malakai Lewis; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She is pre-deceased by her husband, Milton C. Johnson; sister Esther C. Green; brothers John C. Wilhoite, Roger L. Wilhoite (Shirley), William O. Wilhoite and Joe N. Wilhoite(Jeanette); and nephew Henry O. Wilhoite.
A Celebration of Life will be held at VFW 8002, Lakeland, FL on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
Interment will be at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
