Walter Deion Taylor's Obituary
Walter Deion Taylor resided in Lakeland, Florida. On April the 4th, 2023, he suffered from a heart attack and slipped into the presence of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Walter was born on May 25th 1964, to Linda and Charles Taylor (father predeceased) in Milledgeville, Georgia. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Commerce, Georgia. Upon graduating he went straight into the workforce. In 1987, he purchased a home and took on the care of his mom and dad for many years.
In 1998 he met his future wife, Deborah Goodall, at a College and Career get together and they were married in 1999 and became the proud parents of Brianna Cynthia and Emily Grace. The treasurers of his life. Walter’s greatest joy was to see his girls laughing and his wife happy. He loved football and especially the Georgia Bulldogs. He was a collector of comic books and a true StarTrek fan, a passion he passed on to his daughter, Emily.
Walter will be very missed by his beloved family and his mother, Linda Taylor and brother Marvin Taylor and sisters Jean Knapp (Bill, predecease) and Gail McAbee (John) and greatly loved by his in-laws Cynthia and Eric Goodall (Eric predeceased) and loved by many aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.
Walter was a model of pure love and devotion to his family and a man of great kindness to all he met.
In lieu of Flowers, Family appreciate donations to Give kids the world village, where they were Blessed with a make a wish trip, they will forever remember. They also volunteer time and give back as often as able.
