Valerie Caren Andersen's Obituary
Valerie C. Andersen, 79, of Lakeland, FL passed away December 25, 2020. Valerie was born August 1, 1941 in Norfolk, VA. The daughter of John and Valerie Caren who preceded her in death. Valerie is survived by her spouse, Craig Andersen, of 56 years. Her son, John Andersen, and her Granddaughter, Samantha, both of Devon, PA.
Valerie received a BA Degree from Old Dominion University and a MA Degree from Marymount University. She taught Elementary School for the Fairfax County, Virginia Public School system for 22 years. The last ten years she specialized in teaching Special Education classes for those students who needed individual assistance. After her retirement in 2002, Valerie and Craig moved to Lakeland, FL.
In accordance with her wishes, Valerie will be cremated and interred at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. There will be no services held.
