Valentin Rodriguez's Obituary
Valentin Rodriguez passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026. Born in Puerto Rico, Valentin later made Lakeland. Florida his home, where he lived for 13 years.
Valentine retired 28 years ago after many years of dedicated work. He was known for his kind heart and generous spirit, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed music, dancing and most of all spending time with his family, whom he loved deeply.
Valentin will be remembered for his warmth, his love of family and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.
He survived by his beloved daughters Yvette Rodriguez, Lydia Rodriguez and Margie Rodriguez and by the mother of his daughters, Margarita Reyes. Valentine was a proud grandfather to Marlin Diaz, Nicole Torres, Carla Burgos, Samantha Ortega, Sabrina Alsaidi, Omar Erazo, Christian Burgos and Kenneth Brown. He was also blessed with 15 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm followed by a graveside service at 3:00 pm.
