Lakeland – Mrs. Toni Howe passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020. She was born in Princeton, IN and moved to Lakeland in 1980. Toni worked for Polk County Public Schools for over 35 years. She was the former Principal of Dr. N.E. Read Obituary
My sympathies and prayers to Toni's family and friends. I have many cherished memories of times together.
I had the honor of working with Mrs. Howe at Dr. NE Roberts. I will never forget how she always stood by/for her teachers. Always taking in consideration what was best for the students. Always smiling, always caring. Still remember that hug she gave me when I transfered to another district, and she was getting ready to retired. RIP dear Mrs. Howe.

So thankful for you & your life, Toni! I didn’t have long to get to know you, but in the duration of just a few weeks, you allowed me to stay in your home, you cooked amazing meals, you beat me at many card games, and you made me laugh so many times. Such an amazing mom, wife, & grandmother. You always were so positive about your lungs and never complained. I’m thankful to have met you. Heaven is so lucky to have you there.
