Todd A Hynd's Obituary
LAKELAND - Todd A. Hynd, 65, a resident of Lakeland since the 1970s, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, at home due to cancer.
Todd was born in North Haven, CT, and moved to Lakeland to attend FL. Southern College. He graduated from USF, and began working for a local construction company, and became a superintendent for the remodeling of Publix Supermarkets. He then owned his own tile company, retiring in 2010. He loved playing golf, snow skiing, traveling, and going to live concerts.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Elizabeth; two sons Joshua and Nathaniel; three sisters Polly, Sarah and Sandy; and a granddaughter Sani.
Friends are invited to a memorial service to be held on Feb. 21, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Dr., Lakeland. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
