Tod Robert Cunningham's Obituary
Tod Robert Cunningham, 61, passed from this earthly life on October 30, 2019.
Tod was born in Granite City, Illinois on March 25, 1958, and he graduated from high school there in 1976. While working as a respiratory therapist, he graduated from Webster College with a business degree. He later became head of the Respiratory Department at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. After moving to Colorado in 1991, he continued work as a Respiratory Therapist before moving to Lakeland, Florida in 2010 where he eventually became the head of the Respiratory Therapy Department at Lakeland Regional Hospital.
Tod enjoyed traveling, including several trips to China and the Rocky Mountains. He was a big sports fan, following the professional teams from St. Louis, Denver, and Tampa. He also loved Classic Rock music, attending many live concerts.
Survivors include wife Wenjie (Yu) Cunningham, stepdaughter Siying (Cindy) Yu, Lakeland FL; son Ryan and wife Candace (Vickery) Cunningham of Denver, CO; daughter Tara Cunningham and husband Fred Holt of Westminster, CO; sister Gail (Cunningham) Hug and husband David, Lakeland, FL; brother Eric Cunningham, The Villages, FL; sister Amber Lynn Shepard, Max Meadows, VA; and niece Liz (Hug) Sefick and husband Tighe, Lakeland, FL.
