Mr. Thomas R. Eady's Obituary
Thomas R. Eady 71 of Lakeland died on Tuesday, Dec 18, 2018 at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital - Tampa, FL. Tom was born in Plant City, FL to John & Eleanor (Allen) Eady, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of the Lakeland area, and a proud US Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam conflict. He enjoyed spending his free time fishing, was the voice of the Kathleen High School Red Devils for many football games in the early 2000s, coached girls softball for his daughter Robin's teams, and was a football coach at Duff Field in the 1990s. He retired from Southeastern Construction, where he served as the safety Inspector. Tom was preceded in death by his daughter Robin Rebecca Eady and his parents. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Linda of Lakeland, daughter Rachel Lynn (Timothy) Miles of Lakeland, three brothers John, Dennis, and Mike all of Lakeland, and a large network of family and friends who loved his stories and humor. A celebration of Tom's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, Dec 23, 2018 at Gentry Morrison 1727 Bartow Rd, Lakeland, FL 33801.
