Theresa Anne Schaffer's Obituary
LAKELAND - Theresa Anne Schaffer, 84, passed away February 11, 2015, due to complications of pneumonia.
Theresa moved to Lakeland in the 1980s with her husband, Leroy, a retired U.S. Veteran, and was very active for many years in the National Federation of the Blind, where she worked as an accountant and bookkeeper. She was a devout catholic and member of St. Joseph's Church in Lakeland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy and a son, Clifton; and is survived by two sons, Roger and David Browning; 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday from 6 to 8PM at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Dr., Lakeland. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at 10AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
Family has requested that any donations be made to the National Federation of the Blind.
