Thelma B. Lamb
Lakeland – Thelma B. Lamb passed away on Wednesday August 12, 2015. She was born in Plant City, FL to James and Addie Bridges, and has been a lifetime resident of the Lakeland area. Thelma retired from Publix after approximately 30 years. She was a longtime, active member of Griffin Baptist Church in Lakeland.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Lamb, Jr; brother, James Leslie Bridges; and sister, Louise Goolsby. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth (Heidi) Lamb, Donald (Jill) Lamb both of Lakeland, Steven Lamb of Nashville, TN; 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be Monday, 1:00pm – 2:00pm at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Rd. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Griffin Baptist Church, 3225 Kathleen Rd, Lakeland, FL 33810 or Good Shepherd Hospice, 3470 Lakeland Hills Blvd, Lakeland, FL 33805.
