Tharan R. Parker's Obituary
GYSGT Tharan Ray Parker, USMC Ret. 75 of Mulberry entered his heavenly home on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018 in Lakeland, FL. He was born in Foley, FL to Thomas & Hettie Parker. Ray served in the USMC for 21 ½ years, was a Vietnam Veteran, a life member of Masonic Lodge 338, a life member of the DAV, a life member the American Legion Post 4 and a life member VFW Post 11179. He was also the Past Worthy Patron of OES Chapter 57. He worked as an electronic repairman for the Polk County School Board for many years. He is survived by his wife Christine Sanders Parker, son John C. (Stephanie) Parker, daughter Jennifer (Carlisle J.) Clark, grandchildren Shalyn Clark Glass, Savanah-Rose Clark, Brian Clark, Phillip Clark, Casey Clark, Ashley Reed, 2 great, grandbabies Charlotte & Lily, 2 brothers Rudy (Audrey) Parker and Tony Parker. Ray will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date. In lieu of -flowers Rays family request that you please consider donations to any charity of your choice or the American Diabetes Association.
