Steve Morgan's Obituary
Steve Allen Morgan of Lakeland, Florida passed away Wednesday, September 20th, 2023, at the age of 72.
Steve was born to Bill and Bonnie Morgan in Miami, Florida on February 8th, 1951. He began working in construction with his father and continued in that field for 55 years. At age 23 he married his wife, Vicky, and over their 49 years together they had three children, 5 grandchildren, and one great grandson.
Steve spent his life enjoying his wife and family, spending days at Disney, the beach, fishing, or just being outdoors in the Florida sunshine.
He was a hardworking man, selfless, easy going, and dedicated to his wife and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Vicky Morgan, and their children, Summer McRae (Stephen) and Malakye Morgan. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Heidi, Alana, Grace, and Sunny McRae, and Rowdy Morgan, one great-grandson, Opal McRae, and three siblings, Nancy Forehand (Foster), Chuck Morgan (Ryan), and Gary Morgan (Dee). He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stefan Michelle Morgan, parents, Bill and Bonnie Morgan, and sister Sheena Ann Morgan.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be announced in the spring.
