Stephen R. Mershon
Lakeland – Stephen R. Mershon, 56, passed away Sept. 8, 2018.
Stephen was born in Lakeland on Nov. 15, 1961. He enjoyed surfing, photography, fishing and time with friends and family. Stephen was also known as unofficial Mayor of SOFA.
He is survived by his son, Brandon Mershon; mother, Gloria Mershon; brothers, Mike, David (Maribeth) and Mark Mershon; sister, Terri Mershon-Orme (Jeff); nieces, Allison Mershon, Emily Orme and Kendall Orme. He was preceded in death by his father, George Mershon, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted Sat. Sept. 22nd from 4-7 pm at the Cleveland Heights Golf Club. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stephen’s honor to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
