Stephanie Marie Richardson's Obituary
Stephanie Marie Richardson, age 28, born on July 10, 1989, was greeted at heavens doors with open arms by her loving father, the late Donald C. Richardson, Sr. on January 2, 2018. Originally from the Boston area, Stephanie moved to Lakeland, Florida at the age of 14 with her family.
She graduated from Lake Gibson Senior High School where she was
in the top 10 % of her graduating class and studied several nursing courses at University of North and South Florida. Recently she worked at the Texas Roadhouse in Lakeland.
Stephanie’s greatest joy was being a mother to her son Jackson J. Evans,
age 2. She was devoted to his care and was a proud and loving mother.
Stephanie was known for her fun spirit and a great laugh. She enjoyed going to concerts and appreciated a wide range of music from classic Johnny Cash, to 80’s rock bands to hard-core rock.
Most notably, Stephanie was dedicated to her entire family. In addition to caring for her son, she always took extra efforts to reach out to her grandparents and her aunts/uncles, and she
was especially supportive of her siblings.
Stephanie was also known to reach out to others and offer her support in numerous ways to her many friends and even strangers. Stephanie took the time to reach out to a young homeless
man, that was in need and helped him, with her own donations and encouraged others to help him as well. She was able to provide him with sustainable household goods to
keep him warm and improve his living conditions, more
importantly she took the time to get to know him personally and prayed with him for comfort. Her life touched so many people and she will be deeply missed.
Stephanie was a wonderful daughter to her parents Juliana B. Richardson, 55, and the
late Donald C. Richardson, Sr. She is also survived by her siblings: her brothers Donald C. Richardson Jr., 29, PFC Alec W. Richardson USMC, 18, and her two
sisters Alysha R. Richardson, 25, Grace K. Richardson, 16,
and her nephew Zion A. Grant, 5, grandmother, Joan Richardson, 76, and her many aunts and uncles and cousins.
May her smile live forever in everyone she touched.
A memorial service for Stephanie will be held January 26th from 2-4 pm and from
6-8 pm at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland, Florida 33801.
