Stanton K. Lee, 94
1921-2016
Lakeland – Stanton “Stan” Lee has joined his wife of 48 years, Elizabeth, and his grandson, Andrew Lindeman, in Heaven, on April 28, 2016. Stan never met a stranger on his travels throughout the world. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He loved nature and enjoyed feeding the squirrels who will miss his daily visits up and down Grasslands Blvd. Stan proudly served during WWII in the U.S. Army. He retired from the Military after 20 years of service and moved to St. Pete Beach, FL where he worked for the Florida Welfare Service for another 20 years.
Stan is survived by his children, Dr. David (Karen) Lee of Lakeland, and Karen (Mike) Stockstill of Kansas City, MO. ; grandchildren, Bryan D. Lee of Boston, MA and Alyssa (Brett) Morris of Arlington, VA ,who is expecting his first great grandchild in May.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 12 pm at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland, FL 33801.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O. Box 4527, New York, NY 10163.
