Sophia Smith's Obituary
Sophia Smith was born on August 21, 2000 in Lakeland, Florida and died on January 28, 2023. Sophia was a lifelong resident of Lakeland and graduated from George Jenkins High School in 2018; while there she was active in the marching band playing the alto saxophone. She attended the South Florida Church of Christ with her family where she was very active in the Lord's work; she especially loved working with the babies and children and was looking forward to the day she would get married and take care of her own. She also went on several mission trips with the Church; including trips to Panama, Peru, Georgia and Tennessee where she could join together with so many other like-minded people. Sophia loved photography, making cards, baking and Disney World. She was a light. She was unapologetically herself. She enjoyed making people happy.
Sophia is survived by her parents Scott and Staci Smith, brother Brian Smith and sister Olivia Smith, Uncle and Aunt Craig and Stephanie Smith, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout different states.
