Many, many memories but one that has stood out these past few weeks is this. When I was about ten we moved to Lakeland and although I had known Shirley, she and my dad were first cousins, this is when I really got to know her. She worked at the Baptist Children's Home and we lived nearby. Two of my friends, at school, lived at the home. I wasn't very happy about the move and I think she realized this, so sometimes she would pick me up and we would go roller skating and sometimes she would take me with her to Haines City and I would get to see her mom and dad, Aunt Mary and Uncle Simmie. These were great times. I will miss her but she has left this world a better place because of all the lives she touched and the love that will never die.
Love you, Sharon
