Shirley Evelyn Elliott's Obituary
Shirley Evelyn Elliott, daughter of Peggy Blackmon and Robert Hunt, passed away on July 25th, 2025, at Lakeland Regional Health, surrounded by her family.
A devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother. She was a Para for over 20 years for the Polk County School Board before retiring. As a devoted follower of Christ, she led the Dorcus Sunday School Class at Bethel Baptist Church in Lakeland, FL, for many years. Evelyn was the epitome of a True Christian woman; she loved deeply and wholeheartedly, always leading by example in everything she did. She had a giver's heart.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Peggy Blackmon and Robert Hunt, Husband Daniel “Danny” Elliott, and great-granddaughter Magnolia Jane Carter.
She is survived in death by her daughter Shirley Michelle Hall and husband Marshall Hall, grandchildren Morgan Carter and spouse Zach Carter, Dillon Hall and Spouse Maddy Hall, and Elysse Hall, and great-granddaughter Willow Hall and siblings Bobby Hunt and Anne Edrup.
