Sherry Lynn Morris' Obituary
Sherry Lynn Morris, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, went home to be with the Lord on March 17, 2026, in Lakeland, Florida, at the age of 64.
Sherry was born on May 8, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to the Lakeland area 50 years ago, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and service. A devoted teacher, she touched countless young lives with her kindness, patience, and love for children. Her faith in Jesus guided everything she did, and her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sherry was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Homeland, where she worshiped with steadfast devotion.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Berry (James Berry) and Kira Ramsey (Matt Ramsey); her nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and her sister, Jerrie Orr. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service celebrating Sherry’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Homeland.
Sherry’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, faith, and family—a legacy that will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
