Sheila Louise Nink's Obituary
Sheila Louise (Jordan) Nink, 74, passed away peacefully on June 02, 2021 at home after a brief battle with lung cancer and has gone home to be with the Lord. She was surrounded by her loving husband and family members. Sheila was born May 27th, 1947 in Lakeland, Florida to parents Louise and James Monroe Jordan, raised by Stepfather James H. Duckett. She remained in Lakeland, Florida her entire life.
Sheila enjoyed the beach, shopping and was a wonderful cook. She was a great story teller and had a great sense of humor that could bring a crowd to laughter. She was also a very strong willed lady who would let you know how she felt, whether you liked it or not. She also had a passion and love for taking care of stray animals. She felt every animal needed a home. But, her most enjoyment in life, was the love and life she shared with her husband.
Sheila is preceded in death by her parents, James Monroe and Louise Jordan, Step Father, James H. Duckett, Step Brother Robert Jordan, Step Son, Kennith Nink, Step Daughter, Kathleen Nink. She is survived by husband Edwin Nink, Brothers, Ronald (Sara) Jordan, Donald (Janice) Jordan, , Jimmy Duckett, Sister, Jane (Wade) Waters, Daughters, Diane Nesvacil and Debra (Eric) Sandoval, , Step daughter Sherry (Bud) Chrsyler, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be handled by the family. A later date will be announced.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to the: National Cancer Society.
