Samuel Winter Donaldson, II's Obituary
Samuel Winter Donaldson II passed away unexpectedly on February 17, 2016. Sam was born on October 16, 1985. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1997 at the age of 12 and joyfully served for many years as a full-time Bible instructor (Regular Pioneer) and Ministerial Servant. In 2006, Sam moved to the Tampa Sign Language Congregation to help deaf individuals understand the Bible and learn of the wonderful promises from our Creator, Jehovah.
Sam was a Florida Licensed Building Contractor and along with his brother Andrew and sister June, started Donaldson Construction Company in 2006. Together, they completed many commercial and residential projects throughout the State. Over the past few years, Sam also worked for his oldest brother Carver, remodeling and renovating homes in Central Florida.
As part of his ministry, he travelled to many Construction Projects both in the US and Internationally, to work on Assembly Halls, Kingdom Halls, and Branch facilities. In 2008, he volunteered for 3 months at the Ecuador Branch Office Translation Building Construction project.
Sam was passionate about his ministry and his family, and he loved to fish and spend time on the water. Sam's love and laughter touched the lives of many, and his loss leaves a large void for his family and those dear to him. His wife Kali; his parents Sam and Linda; his brother Carver and his wife Alex and two nephews, Andres and Alex; his brother Andrew (Fuzzy) and his wife Ashlie; his little sister June; his aunts Dianne, Clare and Ginger; his uncle Hank; one of his best friends Evan Dessler; as well as his extended family members and a multitude of spiritual 'brothers and sisters' from all over the world.
His memorial service will be held Saturday, February 27th 2016 at 6:00 PM, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3804 Danny Bryan Road, Tampa Fl 33619.
