Ruth F. Windham's Obituary
Ruth F Windham was born to Fred and Grace Falkner in Orlando, Florida, on July 11, 1939. She was the only daughter and was the youngest to her 5 brothers. She went home to be with her Heavenly Father on January 3, 2017 due to complications from a car accident. She lived in Lakeland, Florida and was married to her sweetheart, Donald Windham, for 55 years. She has 3 children - daughter, Joy (husband, Scott) Hirdes with grandsons, David and Joel Hirdes; son, David (wife, Kathy) Windham with granddaughters, Allison (husband, Charles) Nepomuceno (great granddaughter, Adaya), Bethany (husband, Michael) Rinderknecht (great grandchildren, Theo and Juliette), Caitlyn and Deeana Windham; and son, Charles Windham. She is also survived by her brothers, Joe (wife, Myrtle) Falkner of San Diego, California, and David (wife, Sherry) Falkner of Johnson City, Tennessee, and brothers, James Falkner of Orlando, Florida, Fred Falkner, and Jack Falkner have predeceased her.
She was a loving wife, mom, and “Neena” to her grand and great grandchildren. Her legacy lives through all of us. She was a lady who truly embodied Proverbs 31. She will be sorely missed and will leave a void in our lives, but she would want all of this to be focused on Jesus Christ who she knew in a very personal way. Her life’s focus was in her love for her husband and family and in pointing others to Jesus Christ. She touched so many lives in her witness for the Lord, the welcoming of many into her home, and various ministries she was involved in over the years.
We would like to thank all of our family and friends for their many prayers and kindness to us during this difficult time in our lives.
Please enjoy the pictures of her with her family and friends throughout the years.
