Ruth B. (Vasey) Schultz's Obituary
Ruth B. (Vasey) Schultz passed away peacefully on June 10, 2020 at the age of 98.
She was born in Newfoundland, Canada on March 30, 1922. She grew up in Saginaw, Michigan and graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1940. She married Don Schultz on April 29, 1944. In 1961, they moved to Lapeer, Michigan where Ruth was a jewelry store manager. They moved to Lakeland, Florida in 1985 where Ruth enjoyed playing Bridge, selling Avon, and organizing travel for friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Toni Rowden of Lakeland, FL; 3 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Helen Peter and Dorothy Sievert; and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Don; son in law, David Rowden; 4 brothers, Herbert, William, Earl and David Vasey; and 2 sisters, Jeanne Thon and Julie Fisher.
Burial will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at a later date.
