TO THE FAMILY OF RUTH GIBSON PHELPS
I was saddened today to hear from my son, Bill Histed, of Mulberry Press, of the passing of my OES friend, Ruth Phelps. I was organist for Ruth, my first office, when Bob and I moved to Florida from Ohio in late 1984.
Ruth was a true Star! She loved the work, she was excellent in memorization. She was happy, friendly and kind. She was all of that until poor health happened and she could no longer attend.
When she was young, she had a dream of being an Eastern Star and I know she was to the end. She is an inspiration for us all.
