LAKELAND- Ruffus Glass, 76, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Consulate Health Care at Socrum Loop due to respiratory failure. Mr. Glass worked as an Assistant Manager for the trafficking department at Publix and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Glass; son Phillip Glass; and 4 siblings. He is survived by daughter Carrie (Felton) Britt; sons David (Debbie) Glass, Lionel (Cheryl) Glass; brother Melbourne Glass; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, 10am-11am at Bethel Baptist church with services at 11am. Arrangements by Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.gentry-morrison .com
