ROYCE WAYNE HART, 80
LAKELAND - Royce Wayne Hart passed away early Sunday afternoon, March 1, 2015, at LRMC. Royce Wayne Hart was born in Snow Hill, NC, on December 20, 1934, to Raymond Elias Hart and Mary Ethel Gay. He left home in 1954 and joined the U.S. Air Force where he served 8 years; then joined the Army National Guard where he served 21 years. Wayne loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping with his family, and had a great passion for grilling. On July 30, 1960, he married Geraldine Haltiwanger from Kathleen, FL, who passed away June 1984. On October 10, 1990, he married Sarah Francis Spears from Auburndale, FL, who survives him. He is survived by his children: Mary Marchelle Hart Lacicero, Michael Dwayne Hart, Maurice Anthony Hart (Katrina), Kimberly Kay Hart Everlen (John, deceased), Stephanie Lynn Hart Raschke (Craig); grandchildren: Nicole Lynn McCain, Kyle Austin Everlen, Ashlyn Marie Hart, Corey Steven Raschke, Courtney Alexis Everlen, Dallas Michael Hart, Haleigh Jordan Hart, Chasidy Michelle Raschke, Alyssa Nicole Hart; brother, Dewey Wallace Hart; sisters, Evelyn Valeria Hart Smith and Lucy Carol Hart Hill. Mr. Hart was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Wayne Hart; brothers, Virgil Lee Hart, Raymond Elias Hart, Jr. and Ray Buren Hart; sisters, Celia Veronica Hart Wade, Doris Genevieve Hart Moore, Edna Bliss Hart Frazier and Norma Cleo Hart Cress. Visitation will be held Wednesday (today), March 4, 2015, from 12-1 p.m. at Gentry Morrison Serenity Gardens with funeral services to follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be conducted at Socrum Cemetery.
