Rosa "Mamá" M. Vazquez's Obituary
Rosa "Mamá" M. Vazquez, 78, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024 in Lakeland.
Mamá was born in Puerto Rico on May 29, 1945, to parents Erasmo and Juana (Soso) Vazquez. She has been a resident of Lakeland for the past 29 years.
Mamá was very hard working and dedicated. As a single mother to five children, she played the role of both Mom and Dad for her children and was a constant support and provider for her family. In addition to raising her children, she was also a foster parent and provided guidance and stability to many children over the years. Mamá loved to quilt and watch cooking shows and novellas, and to sing and dance. She was always happy and fun to be around.
