Born on January 29, 1939, in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Bob's life was a testament to his deep faith, love for his family, and a boundless curiosity for the world around him.
After graduating high school, Bob served in the Navy, where he embraced the discipline and camaraderie that military life offered. His service to his country was a source of great pride and taught him lessons that he carried throughout his life.
Bob dedicated 30 years to his career as an Architectural Supervisor at GTE phone company, retiring in 1991 at the age of 52. His work ethic and leadership left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the industry.

An avid lover of the outdoors, Bob enjoyed tennis, bowling, traveling, hiking, camping, canoeing, bow hunting, reading books, building/ fixing things and spending time with his family. He retired young to spend many summers on a creek in North Carolina, visit state parks and hike the Appalachian trail. He had a special connection with animals and loved experiencing God’s hand in nature. He taught those around him how to work hard, love big, and play hard, not just with his words but also with his actions . He was a man of great faith in God and lived the meaning of integrity. He would spend hours with his grandkids, nieces, and nephews, pushing swings, playing at the park, building things, exploring, and simply just pouring out his love and wisdom.
